Have fun at Otakon, you guys!

The fireworks at the harbor were completely anti-climactic. I was so sad.
After years of being terrified of the loud noises (and the irrational fear of being set on fire), I finally let someone (achieanon ) drag my butt down there, only to see one of the most pathetic fireworks displays I've ever seen. Way to go, mayor. Cut the budgets some more, why don't you?

But otherwise, the evening went well. Ashley, her mom, and I went to Hard Rock cafe for dinner and it was excellent. Ashley and I also confused a few cashiers at the big ho-mah-jeeeesuuuus Barnes&Noble (I will let you borrow it when I'm finished, okay, bb?) and goofed around with glow sticks while we waited for the event. Also, live bands playing Bohemian Rhapsody created the necessity to head bang in the midst of a crowd.

I hope your holidays had some light to them! I'm off to another party with netiri_sama !

Just got back from spending five days withnetiri_sama . <3 I really needed to get out of here; I was dying of boredom.

I think I'm the only person I know who cried while they watched True Blood. I was bawling like a baby, and it led to brownies being made at 3 am, complete with ice cream.

The aunt finally moved out, took her boyfriend and her bratty daughter with her. The world inside my two story house has finally returned to normal. Tension levels experienced are bothersome, but they're natural and I wouldn't have it any other way.

My mom's boyfriend invited me to go shooting again on Friday. I'm so excited! XD Which I know seems a little weird, but...oh well. The somewhat adrenaline rush is worth it. And it's just another 'masculine' thing I can prove that I'm just as good at as any boy my age. Hehe. When you grow up in a world full of testosterone, it makes you want to prove yourself as much as possible (I have a brother and six others that I grew up with, all around my age).

I wish I could icon. I am in dire need of Grandia II icons. Grandia was the first RPG I'd ever been fully invested in. My brother and I played together every night, me doing all the navigating on the world maps and in the towns (and voice acting for every character when voices weren't given to them) and he fighting all of the battles (I was really jealous and spiteful).
Somehow, I can trace all of my RP characters, my real life snark and sarcasm, back to this game and getting the [old] remake for the PS2--it was originally on Dreamcast-- has just reignited my love for it.

Graduation rehearsal today. Let's see how long it takes for 400+ assorted morons and intelligent persons to learn how to walk, sit, stand, and react to their names.

Well, I didn't get any of the scholarships I applied for tonight at the senior award ceremony. Buttt....
I was recognized for troisieme anee dans le class de francais et pour mon travail exceptionnel. I was really proud, I love French and I'm so glad that I was given the award.

It really hasn't sunk in yet that Friday is my last day of school. I've only taken one final so far because of all of my AP tests. 

It's almost over, and I've never been happier.

My little sister is the best cheat code ever for Kingdom Hearts 2. She's even better than the rare candy cheat in the original Pokemon games; just let her go crazy in the Pride Lands, and suddenly, I'm almost level 96. Granted, this is after I beat the game (at level 80), but when I feel like doing it again...teehee. Xemnas won't have a chance. </maniacal laughter>

I have an interview sometime next week at the courthouse!

Remind me to thank my life for having great connections in the office field. And also, let this post be a reminder when I'm slamming my head into a desk from boredom behind a desk.

Either way, this gets me out of retail and hopefully direct person-to-person contact.
